I went for a walk
I was feeling empty, so I stepped out. In the days prior I saw vibrant green grass, such a deep green that I just had to step out.
I focused mostly on the sky; in this time of spring, it was always overcast.
I walked aimlessly, avoiding people, and staring into space as I lugged myself along.
I found some peace in the grayed out sky; it wasn't too vibrant, it was like a blank canvas.
Stare at it too long and you'll get lost in its textures.
Eventually, I made it to the park. Where I intented to go but it wasn't my final destination,
for that was still unchosen.
The grass's deep green was missing from the park; spring failed to play its part in regrowing the winter grass.
I wanted to tear up a bit, at the lostness I felt despite knowing where I was physically;
It overwhelmed me.
Found a stick though! :)
I left it propped up in the grate. A gift for the next traveller!
pretty.
Saw a black doggy in someones backyard, I greeted them and they greeted me. Then they proceeded to walk a few feet back and take a dump... (- _-)
Spooky... Better check it out ofc
Oh, its not scary at all.
I always found peace in graffti, I never got why it was so looked down apon. It's like the internet in a sense: everyone in the area has the opportunity to express themselves, make a mark on their world, make history; and with anonymity. Whenever I see graffti, I wonder, who made that art? In that sense, graffti is a type of contained history; stickers count too, if you're one of those ppl that put furry stickers on the city, you're a goat.
I wanna go around and slap stickers on the city someday.
A large abandoned field in the park, absolutly no one was here. It felt like I had found something special, and I'd discover that to be true
I felt, an odd sense of happiness. When I begun, I was disappointed in my journey, but now that changed.
This pocket of a public area was now a wetland: the bleachers overgrown, birds bathing in the mud puddles, the paint on the grass was faded, and the goal posts had begun sinking into the ground. In that moment, I felt...
I felt something, it was like a present feeling, the type that slips away before you even knew how special it was.
I walked away feeling a sort of accomplishment, I mean all I did was walk around, but it felt new...
This is a sneaky psa to go touch grass once and a while ♥♥♥
